Dual Damage gears up for Get Wrecked with anthem release

Today marks the release of the third Dual Damage track this year. Could 'Step Into The Chaos' be the next number 1 in the Hardstyle Top 100, following the success of the last two releases in recent weeks? Hardstyle.com caught up with Thijs and Jesper to discuss their achievements and their upcoming event, Get Wrecked.

There's no denying that Dual Damage is quickly becoming one of the top artists in the hardstyle scene. In the first week of this year, the boys took home the prestigious award for 'Most Promising Artist' at the Hardstyle Awards Ceremony.

At the start of 2024, Dual Damage dropped two collaboration tracks. 'XTINCTION' with Aversion, and the highly anticipated 'CALL ME' with So Juice. Both tracks showed up high in the Charts immediately after the release and secured that prestigious number 1 spot in the Hardstyle Top 100. For Thijs and Jesper, claiming the number 1 spot for a few weeks in a row feels unreal. "We really want to send love to all our fans who have supported our tracks so hard," they share with us.

At this moment, it appears that each track Dual Damage puts out becomes an immediate success. We asked ourselves, what's their secret? "We can't tell you the secret of Dual Damage," the boys laugh. "But what works to our advantage is that we complement each other perfectly in all the tasks that come with being an artist. Thijs is the producer and Jesper does all marketing and business-like work for the act. On top of that, we work extremely hard to complete our goals. It's definitely not just falling into our laps." 

"Time to Get Wrecked, Dual Damage is back"

There's no doubt the guys are putting in serious work to achieve their goals. In addition to delivering hit after hit, Thijs and Jesper are also the masterminds behind their own event, Get Wrecked. The third edition of the event is scheduled for next Saturday. "Since the first edition of Get Wrecked, the event has been sold out. This edition was even sold out in 10 minutes! The vibe and family feeling at the event has always been great, so we also expect that for the upcoming edition." 

This edition of Get Wrecked will be the largest so far, in the Maaspoort in 's Hertogenbosch. "We have a super strong line-up that we're really proud of. We will also perform with our brand-new live act, for which we have made new tracks, of course. Long story short, it will be a wonderful day full of kloenking with everyone!" 

As mentioned before, tickets for the event are no longer on sale. But don't worry if you're excited to see Dual Damage on stage elsewhere in the upcoming festival season: "We are blessed with some beautiful spots on stages of the most amazing festivals this summer, both in The Netherlands and internationally! We're really looking forward to it."
