Witness the anthem made by Svane live on stage (read exclusive interview)

Svane, a Norwegian Hardstyle artist, created the official anthem for the Hardstyle DNA festival. In this interview, he discussed his involvement with the festival and how he approached creating the anthem.

When asked about his initial reaction to being asked to create the anthem, Svane said, “I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to create the official anthem for Hardstyle DNA. It was a dream come true to be asked to create the anthem for such an amazing event.” He went on to explain that he spent two straight weeks working on the first draft and several months perfecting it until he was completely satisfied with the final product.

Regarding the creative process behind the anthem, Svane explained that he wanted to capture the energy and spirit of the festival and create a track that would evoke strong emotions and create lasting memories for those in attendance. “Anklebreaker played a crucial role in creating the melody of the track, whilst I took on the responsibility of producing and refining it,” he said. “I spent several hundred hours experimenting with different sounds, melodies, and arrangements to get it just right.”

When asked about the advantages of attending Hardstyle DNA, Svane mentioned the festival’s location in the heart of Oslo, the extensive line-up of talented artists, and the festival’s dedicated crowd, which adds to the overall energy and vibe.

Svanes best insider tip is to try the Norwegian cuisine “Pinnekjøtt” (meaning stick-meat in Norwegian) when visiting. Other than that, he opened upcoming projects, and revealed that he’ll be releasing several tracks with Theracords Labs, and collaborating with one of his best friends, Serzo, on a new project. Svane also announced that he’ll be performing in the Netherlands for the first time in May, which is a major accomplishment for him and one of his goals for 2023.
