The Hardstyle Top 40 of August 2023 has a new winner: Mutilator went straight to the number one position with festival megahit ‘Psychedelics’. Some would say that this track is one of the best of the summer, don’t you agree?
Mutilator kicked off his festival season with ‘Psychedelics’ at REBiRTH Festival. The Gearbox Digital heavyweight immediately knew that his latest track was an instant hit. “Ever since premiering this one at REBiRTH, the response has been overwhelming!”, is what Mutilator said on the day of the release. Lots of fans flooded him with messages on his socials. “From countless questions about the release day to hundreds of kickroll videos.”

August was a packed month with quite a lot of Hardstyle releases: resulting in another massive Hardstyle.com Top 40. Rebelion brought out their very anticipated ‘Lucid Dreams’ on their Acid Reign label and landed on the 2nd position. The Scottish duo played the track as the very first of their Spotlight set at the RED of Defqon.1 2023. And also the long-awaited remix for Headhunterz’ classic ‘Reignite’ by D-Block & S-te-Fan got to the podium and you can find Mutilator yet again at the top: his ‘Break Your Neck’ collab with Thyron got to the 4th position this month.
