EMBRACE THE HISTORY OF DOMINATOR: A TIMELINE OF ALL ANTHEMS EVER MADE

Dominator, the biggest outdoor hardcore spectacle there is. It has been 17 years since the first edition took place. This also means that many memorable anthems have been made that have earned their place in the history of hardcore and today, their official anthem of its 2022 will be released. Let’s go back in time to admire each Dominator anthem and find out who made the brand-new anthem of this year’s edition.

The first three editions of de hardcore spectacle took place in different locations. The first edition of Dominator (2005) took place in Het Rutbeek, Enschede (The Netherlands). The next edition in 2009 took place in Stadspark Groningen and the 2008 edition took place in Vlietland, Leidschendam.

Since 2009 Dominator has been based in the E3-Strand Eersel. Since then, the huge spectacle has not taken place anywhere else. And let’s be honest? This location is a perfect fit for the event.

So, since 2005, 14 editions of Dominator have taken place, of which this year will be the 15th. Unfortunately, the 2020 & 2021 editions have not been able to take place due to COVID-19 conditions. Since the first edition back in 2005, they started with the anthems for each edition. Since then, the organization has annually chosen a good artist who deserved to make the anthem.
