These are the best Hardstyle Tracks of 2022

“Those who can’t dance, blame it on the music.” That’s definitely not the case this year: because in addition to finally getting to dance again after 2 years of corona, Hardstyle artists released more tracks this year than ever before. Including nominations for the Best Tracks of the Hardstyle Awards 2022.

The artists effectively (and fully) utilized the time the events were on hold between 2020 and 2022. There was simply no dance floor (with an audience) to play new music for – so many producers decided to save much of their music for a better time.

That time has come: in fact, so far this year more than 5,400 tracks have been released in hard dance. That’s an average of 103 (!) releases per week. But when we look at the downloads on Hardstyle.com, the streams on platforms like Spotify etc. and take the best track of each artist from these data, we arrive at this top 10 of 2022:

Each artist can have a maximum of 1 nomination per category, so the absolute best track of their 2022 catalog has been chosen for a chance of winning best track of the year. This is for several reasons: for example, if you’re a fan of Rebelion, then it’s simply mission impossible to choose between ‘City Lights’ and their collab with Vertile ‘Simulation’. Also, the votes for Rebelion get divided in this case: in this setup you can only vote for 1 track and that is (according to the statistics) the artist’s best track of this year.

Music has a great influence on our feelings, and that’s why Hardstyle hits us so much: ‘Something happens on the dancefloor when the DJ plays a certain tune’. So, it could be that ‘Simulation’ is the best track instinctively for you. We understand, because there are plenty of people who agree. Still, for this year the data has been leading: this way as many artists as possible can see their hit being rewarded with an award.
