All you need to know about Defqon.1 Weekend Festival 2023

Defqon.1 Weekend Festival starts Thursday at 16:00 and ends at 23:00 on Sunday. The festival is located in Biddinghuizen. This event is completely sold out, so only the lucky ones will be able to visit the festival.

Defqon.1 Weekend Festival serves as the ultimate sanctuary for those with a passion for the harder styles. From June 22nd until June 25th, over 150.000 like-minded souls unite to become part of our sacred tribe. Since starting in 2003, Defqon.1 has been the Hardstyle highlight of each festival season.

Defqon.1 offers an array of unique experiences, including The Gathering, The Tribute, The Opening Ceremony, The POWER HOUR, The Warrior Workout, Sunday Funday, The Altar, and The Closing Ceremony. The Wasted Lands in the Defqon.1 Camping area will also host after parties and crazy activities, including fire shows and a gaming area, with a wellness area for those who want to take things down a notch.

Defqon.1 is the biggest Harder Styles event in the world and a must-visit for literally everyone. With a gigantic campground, festival-goers get the ultimate Defqon experience when camping, but also those who like it a bit more luxurious are catered with the Q-dance Travel & Stay packages that offer hotels & cottages in combination with an entrance ticket.

The festival’s line-up was revealed during their ‘The Release’ broadcast, with thousands of ravers tuning in to watch an evening of entertainment and footage from previous Defqon.1 editions. The festival’s stages, including RED, BLUE, and BLACK, will host an impressive range of artists, including genre pioneers, anthem makers, and legendary performers. Some of this year’s highlights are:

 
✦ For the first time, each festival day features a unique and spectacular endshow, complete with pyrotechnics and special effects that embody the Defqon.1 style.
✦ On Friday afternoon, prepare to be wowed as Phuture Noize combines live elements with his DJ set for an unforgettable Opening Ceremony.
✦ Get your sweat on with the world’s biggest harder styles workout, the Warrior Workout, on Saturday morning with a team of professional trainers taking over the UV stage.
✦ Join in on the fun as the audience becomes part of a large choreographed movement during the famous POWER HOUR on Saturday afternoon.
✦ Unwind on Sunday with the new Open Air Bed Concert on the BLACK Stage, where you can relax on airbeds and enjoy classics from harder styles played by a pianist before the setting turns into a massive airbed rave.
✦ The festival’s explosive finale on Sunday night features the Closing Ceremony, where The Prophet, known as the ‘Godfather of Hardstyle,’ will spin his final set ever, bringing the entire festival together.
