Aversion, Headhunterz & Vertile, and Mutilator dominated with 2023’s top tracks

This year, Hard News and Hardstyle.com are taking the charts to another level. Following a year that brought us thousands of new hardstyle releases and numerous albums, the Hardstyle Awards are back. Today, we’re here to tell you that Aversion, Headhunterz & Vertile, and Mutilator are in the race to win the award for ‘Best Track’ of 2023.

Once again, Hard News and Hardstyle.com have teamed up to present the yearly independent hardstyle election, utilizing our data and your votes. After counting all votes last week and combining them with Hardstyle.com’s data, the following tracks are nominated in the category ‘Best Track’:

Aversion – Activation

‘Activation’ has already left a significant mark on the Hardstyle scene, standing out from other tracks in the genre. It might just have been thé breakthrough of Aversion – and that for a track that he made in just 4 hours, he told us in PLAFONDDIENST – The Hardstyle Podcast. Last summer, you could hear the Tu-du-du-du multiple times at all festivals. It’s no surprise that the track got that number 1 spot in the Top 40 of the month June, but will it be popular enough to earn the ‘Best Track’ prize as well

Headhunterz & Vertile ft. Sian Evans – Lost Without You (Defqon.1 2023 Closing Theme)

We’re 100% convinced that listening to ‘Lost Without You’ from Headhunterz & Vertile ft. Sian Evans gives visitors of this year’s Defqon.1 Weekend Festival instant chills. It brings them back to the mainstage, where this Closing Theme was played for the first time. All the Weekend Warriors made their voice heard, which resulted in a nomination for this emotional track. Will Headhunterz and Vertile win the award for ‘Best Track’ this year?

Mutilator – Psychedelics

In August, Mutilator claimed the Top 40’s number 1 spot with his most popular track to date, ‘Psychedelics’. “There’s been a lot of hype on the track, but seeing the response is even beyond my expectations,” he told Hardstyle.com about this accomplishment. The track ended up high in the Hardstyle Awards rankings, but will it be enough for Mutilator to take home the award for ‘Best Track’?
