D-Sturb & Devin Wild team up for second collab: ‘Elevate'

After working together on ‘Take What Is Mine’ seven years ago, the two artists have joined together to release a new masterpiece of a track on SCANTRAXX.
Dion Mons, also known as Devin Wild, and Jorrit Popkema, also known as D-Sturb, have been two pioneers of the hardstyle sounds for the past decade. The melodic sounds of them both are joined by a signature collection of heavy kicks that make their tracks absolute bangers to be enjoyed at home and to be ready to destroy the dancefloor.
Both Devin Wild and D-Sturb have had a year full of highlights. The first has released a fully collaborative EP with Phuture Noize plus two massive collabs with Ran-D and Sound Rush, while the latter is constantly delivering top class songs, such as ‘The Edge (of the End)’, ‘GO HARD’, with Holy Priest or ‘Birds’, with Aversion. Their new collab together, ‘Elevate’, comes as the perfect blend between two different visions of hardstyle that make a perfect mix.
“The last drop always hits different when we play it live”
After the success of their individual careers, it was a matter of time to see their paths crossing once again. Together, they have delivered an amazing track that was already a very anticipated tune by their fans. “Jorrit and I have been good mates for years and over time we’ve both really grown and developed our visions”, Dion says. “It just felt natural to come together again now, the timing was right creatively”.

What was the creative process of this collaboration? We have asked the artists about this. “I wanted to lock in the musical theme and atmosphere from the beginning”, Devin Wild told us. “We built three different sections in the track that each stand on their own, and I really love all of them. We had a good creative flow, but we also chilled and had a good time!”, Jorrit adds.
What will the future bring? Will we see any new projects from Dion and Jorrit together? “For now, this is the only collab we’ve planned together but we definitely want to work together in the future again as there’s still a lot of creative ground to explore. We will see!”, they tell us.
‘Elevate’ dropped today via SCANTRAXX and is now available on Hardstyle.com.
