Dominator prepares for the biggest hardcore gathering

The festival, co-organized by Art of Dance and Q-dance, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and will repeat the hosting formula for its upcoming edition, which will take place in E3 Strand (Eersel) on July 17 and 18

It’s finally that time of the year again! Next week, tens of thousands of hardcore heads will travel from all over the world to Eersel to celebrate the most important hardcore event of the festival season: Dominator. In this article, we’ll highlight what makes Dominator special within the harder styles and why it is a must for every hardcore fan.

Up to 12 hostings to celebrate the union of the hardcore family

Last year, as a celebration of their 20th edition, Art of Dance and Q-dance curated a line-up spanning the full spectrum of hardcore, featuring the most important brands in this genre. A lot of takeovers and hostings covered the two days of madness that Dominator represents. This year, Dominator will repeat the formula with 12 hostings split over two days.

On Friday, Masters of Hardcore will host the mainstage. The uptempo lovers will be able to enjoy BKJN hosting at The Zoo, while things get a bit crazier at The Fire Station with the Deutscher Krach takeover. Multigroove will bring back the essence of the early days with early hardcore at The Highway, while the Spanish brand Masía will export newstyle to The Netherlands at The Arcade. The afterparty will be hosted by Gezellige Clubtempo.

On Saturday, Snakepit will take over The Dockyard, Masterminds will bring millennium hardcore to The Institution and Frenchcore Worldwide will host The Scrapyard. Also, The Highway will be the place to go for terror fans thanks to the takeover of Hong Kong Violence, while Ghosttown will represent early hardcore at The Fire Station, and PRSPCT will put a touch of industrial at The Arcade.

The best atmosphere and crowd of the festival season

If something represents the harder styles crowd (and especially the hardcore one) is that sense of union while giving it all on the dancefloor. It doesn’t matter if you are into uptempo, early, millennium, mainstream hardcore, frenchcore, terror… you will feel as a part of a big family inside the crowd.

Dominator has always represented that: the atmosphere is one of a kind, as you can truly feel the uniqueness of the Dutch crowds and the hardcore feeling at this festival - the biggest outdoor hardcore festival of the year.

The biggest hardcore line-up of the summer, full of exclusive sets

Apart from the hostings themselves, the line-up of Dominator 2026 is absolutely massive. No matter the stage you look, you will find several exclusive back-to-backs, showcases or liveacts that you will be able to experience all together at the same location on 2 spectacular days.

Just to name a few: imagine seeing a special Luna Freestyle Set, Nosferatu & Tha Playah: Combined Forces, Angerfist Classics, Evil Activities vs Mad Dog and Noxiouz pres. ‘The Catalyst’ on the same stage the same day. That will happen at the mainstage on Friday. That same day, you can witness the new live acts of Lekkerfaces, Yoshiko, or Revealer, crazy versus at the Deutscher Krach stage, and a lot of fun freestyle and uptempo sets at the afterparty with Gezellige Uptempo.

On Saturday, on the mainstage, Paul Elstak will go back-to-back with Neophyte & Panic, Bombsquad will play alongside Dimitri K, or Angerfist will perform LIVE, plus sets by Dr. Peacock, Satirized, Miss K8, and the mighty endshow. Uptempo will be strongly represented with many special sets at The Dockyard, including live acts like Roosterz or Unproven, and a ton of B2Bs like T.M.O. vs Udow, Dr. Donk vs Lekkerfaces, Complex vs Kili vs Noxiouz, or Akimbo vs Samynator.

As we mentioned, all other hardcore subgenres will also be present at Dominator 2026, especially on Sunday, so each will have plenty of highlights. A Hardcore Italia showcase, a special DJ Isaac vs The Viper, The Masochist, an early Dr. Peacock show, Akira vs Drokz… exclusivity at its peak.

One of the best locations and stage productions in the Dutch summer season

Although the line-up is probably the most important thing when deciding whether to buy or not a ticket for a festival, at this time and day it’s very relevant that an event lives up to the expectations of the attendees in some other aspects. In this case, don’t worry: Dominator is a step forward in all of them!

Talking about the location, Dominator takes place at one of the very best outdoor venues in the Netherlands. It’s located by a lake, with plenty of green spaces and even a beach for the best possible time. Also, the stages are very close together, reducing the time spent moving from one stage to the next.
