Dr. Peacock goes worldwide with his brand new album ‘Tripping with Dr. Peacock’

The Frenchcore pioneer pays tribute to his legacy and career by exploring the boundaries of hard dance music with 17 trips around the world.

Steve Dekker, also known as Dr. Peacock needs no introduction. The past year has been a celebration for him as it marked his 15th anniversary. After wrapping up his monumental 15 Years of Dr. Peacock Tour with a sold-out finale at Bootshaus (in Cologne, Germany), this week he has released his brand new album: ‘Tripping with Dr. Peacock’.

This album is much more than a bunch of new tracks: it’s a compilation of different sounds all over the world, taking the listener on a journey through different cultures around the planet. From Italy to Albania, from Norway to Portugal, from Lapland to Malta, from the Arcade to the Future. 17 different regions or themes are included into this project. “After my ‘Trip Around The World’ album, it was time to present a new evolution of that series”, Steve said.

Almost every track on this album is a collaboration, apart from two solo tracks. This makes it even more special, as it showcases the sounds of a lot of different artists that left their mark on ‘Tripping with Dr. Peacock’. These collabs go from headliners such as Sefa and Rooler, to prominent uptempo names in the scene as Lil Texas or Pinotello and to some upcoming artists like Anamorphic, Vernex or Captain Core, making the project even more wide and rich.

The artwork and concept reflects Dr. Peacock’s signature style: trippy, colourful and immersive. It transports the audience to a next-level visual and musical journey, guiding them through diverse landscapes, worlds and iconic landmarks from the countries featured in the album and in the live show.
