Dutch popstar FLEMMING enters Hardstyle with Radical Redemption 

For the first time ever, Dutch pop sensation FLEMMING, who's in the Dutch Top 50 with multiple hits, takes a sidequest into hardstyle. And he’s not stepping into the scene alone. Joining forces with Radical Redemption, the two artists release a single: ‘Spiegel Aan De Wand’.

A Dutch-language hardstyle release is rare territory. But a collab between one of the Netherlands’ biggest pop artists and one of hardstyle’s biggest producers? A crossover of two worlds that no one saw coming, but somehow makes perfect sense.

For Radical Redemption, this collaboration isn’t random. “For the people who don’t speak Dutch, Flemming is one of the biggest Dutch pop artists,” Radical explains. “I already knew him when he was still playing in a cover band; he was also playing in a club where I used to play, so I met him years ago, and we kept in contact. Eventually, we decided: why not combine forces and show people that you can really make a musical piece.”

‘Spiegel Aan De Wand’ carries a personal story

The track originated from a speech Joey van Ingen, better known to the scene as Radical Redemption, delivered at his father’s funeral, according to record label 8ball Music. In that moment, he tried to put into words what his father meant to him, not only as a parent, but as a foundation beneath both his life and career.

The track was premiered live for the very first time by Radical Redemption at Intents Festival 2025, where the emotional Dutch lyrics echoed across the festival grounds, which shows that hardstyle and storytelling can go hand in hand.

FLEMMING’s upcoming album ‘Samen Is Leuker Dan Alleen’

‘Spiegel Aan De Wand’ is part of FLEMMING’s upcoming album ‘Samen Is Leuker Dan Alleen’, set for release in 2026. The project will consist entirely of collaborations with different Dutch artists.
