Frontliner releases Nexus Festival anthem: ‘No Receta’

The Dutch legend is responsible for making the 2nd ever anthem for the biggest hardstyle festival in Spain, which will take place in FABRIK Madrid on June 13.

The Spanish hardstyle scene keeps growing and growing, especially thanks to FABRIK Madrid. Having strong line-ups monthly, with tenths of international headliners, is something worth mentioning and highlighting. Five years ago, the team of 150 by FABRIK came up with the idea of hosting their own yearly hardstyle festival in the club: Nexus Festival.

Last year, the festival presented their very first anthem, produced by Adrenalize. This time, it’s time for Frontliner to be responsible for the official Nexus Festival 2026 anthem: ‘No Receta’.

From reverse bass to a very recognizable melody, this is the perfect anthem for the summer

Frontliner has opted for a very classic sound on this anthem, which we can already point out on the first drop, when the reverse bass kicks in. After that, a very euphoric and powerful melody becomes the main act on this track. “What I tried to do is give that summer-feeling in the melody and overall vibe. The vocals tell the story about what it could feel like being at a festival”, Barry told us. “Now it’s time for everyone listening to make their own stories and memories with this track”, he added.

The lyrics are also very special on this one, as Frontliner implemented some Spanish words to fit the theme: ‘receta’ (‘recipe’), ‘peseta’ (the old currency from Spain), ‘etiqueta’ (‘label’)... We asked Frontliner about this, and he answered that “I really wanted to bring some native things to the anthem, something typically Spanish, for example the old ‘peseta’ currency referring back to the feeling of the past. The real summer-vibe is in the melody!”.
