Ghost Stories release 'Final Chapter' vinyl

This double vinyl, containing the full discography of the trio, is already available for pre-order at Hardstyle.com webshop.

Some months ago, D-Block & S-te-Fan announced that they will be saying goodbye to Ghost Stories (their formation together with Evelyn Bakker) at their special 20 Years event in Tilburg on November 8. Definitely, the last show of this trio taking part at that event will definitely be one of the highlights of the indoor festival season.

After the success of the ‘The Best of D-Block & S-te-Fan’ vinyl box that was released in April (and was sold-out within hours), it’s time to say goodbye to Ghost Stories with a new double vinyl set that contains all the tracks the trio have been releasing in the past years. “It became clear to us that vinyl holds a very special place in the hearts of our fans”, they told us. “It is something touchable in such a digital age and specially with the upcoming end of Ghost Stories it felt right to honor this project with a special vinyl release”.

As was the case with the vinyl mentioned above, the artwork of this one is such a special one. It’s designed by Ruud van Eijk and it features the well-known Ghost Stories icon with a smokey background and neon orange letters and eyes for the ghost. “Ghost Stories from the beginning has always been very clear in branding”, D-Block & S-te-Fan say. “Orange is our trademark colour for the project and will also be present on the two vinyls. The inner sleeves will have a variety of ghosts and the back cover has all the songs we ever did for Ghost Stories in a very spooky way”.

‘Ready Or Not’ and ‘Felt The Ghost’, also included in the vinyl!

This team has a long list of bangers behind them. From ‘Angels & Demons’ to ‘Darkest Hour (The Clock)’, there are plenty of melodies and vocals that have become timeless within the scene thanks to the amazing combo Diederik, Stefan and Evelyn form. As they said, this double vinyl features ALL the tracks Ghost Stories have made, including the very last two ones: ‘Ready Or Not’ and ‘Felt The Ghost’. They were premiered at Defqon.1’s The Spotlight earlier this year and the reception of the crowd was amazing, so it’s great to see they are included in this compilation.

“Closing Defqon.1 during The Spotlight and including Ghost Stories in it was very special”, they claim. “We worked very hard on this show and also premiered two new Ghost Stories songs. As we wanted to include all the tracks we ever did on this vinyl, we also included these.” Are they going to be released on all platforms anytime soon? “These two songs will be released in the upcoming months and they mean a lot to us. Even in silence after our last shows… you will feel the ghosts…”.

About their 20 Years of DBSTF event: “Some tears will be shed, see you there!”

The final moment to pay tribute to Ghost Stories will be at the 20 Years of D-Block & S-te-Fan: ‘From History to Infinity’ event next November 8. What surprises do they have in store for us? “We will make one unforgettable final show together with Evelyn”, they told us. “For the first time, we will play all the Ghost Stories tracks in a longer liveact”.
