Two years ago, something special happened at the Decibel Outdoor afterparty. In the chaos of the night, Hans Glock and E-Force jumped behind the decks for a spontaneous back-to-back set. A raw, energetic session that sparked an instant connection. Since that night, the two kept in touch, always knowing they’d one day create something together. That moment has finally arrived with the release of ‘The Matrix’.

Hans Glock is immersed into his ‘Back2Basics’ album project, a concept where diversity takes center stage, blending multiple styles and influences into one powerful story. But one style could never be left out: OG Raw. A genre Hans has loved since 2013, inspired by legends like Frequencerz and E-Force, who mastered the balance between melody, atmosphere, and kicks that slice straight through your soul.

“When I started working on ‘The Matrix’, I wanted to capture that early Raw vibe, when producers often used movie themes or vocals as inspiration,” Hans explains. “I quickly landed on ‘The Matrix’”. The lyrics on the track play directly into this idea: “take the red pill, take the blue, imma take both!”. The message is clear, whether you choose the red pill or the blue, life’s too short to live trapped in fear or conformity. You might as well embrace it, live it, and make it count.

“I’d been following Hans for a while and really respect what he’s doing,” says E-Force. “Especially his creativity and the way he approaches content — I can still learn from that. But also live, he brings massive energy and drive. When I heard the first version of ‘The Matrix’, I was instantly hooked. We finished it together, and of course, I added my own touch with kicks and sound design. The result is a straight-up banger we’re both proud of”.
