INTERNSHIP: Social Media Management

Hardstyle.com is seeking a dedicated social media management intern to join our team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). As an intern, you will provide valuable support to our dynamic social media management department. We highly encourage you to bring in your own ideas and showcase your creativity. The internship start date will be after summer during the start of the new school year (end of August / beginning of September). Other start dates are negotiable.

At Hardstyle.com, we are a leading and independent music and content providing platform within the Hard Dance scene. We operate on multiple levels to serve our dedicated community. Firstly, we specialize in music distribution for all labels and artists, reflecting our data resources in our weekly topics, including the official music charts. In addition Hardstyle.com serves as the primary source for all Hard Dance related news, providing the latest updates through our online magazine.

During this period, it’s all about innovation, as we are always re-developing our platform and therefore, we are looking for a hands-on candidate who is able to contribute in our new marketing and media strategy. Besides a winning mentality the candidate we are searching for should be comfortable with the following requirements:

‣ Affinity with Hardstyle music, labels and artists.
‣ A perfectionist willing to work for a leading brand.
‣ HBO level (or higher), attending a marketing/communication/economics/media studies or a similar education program.
‣ You are well known with the products Adobe Suite / CC has to offer (photoshop, illustrator, premiere and after effects)
‣ Is available to work 5 days a week, 3 of which at our office in the Utrecht area.
Is able to work independently.
‣ Is able to work in a stressful environment and can handle continuous feedback.
‣ Is willing to support but is also eager to learn and propose own ideas.
‣ Is a creative, innovative, organized, motivated, studious person.
‣ Socially and communicatively well gifted.
‣ Has a sharp eye for (new) business ideas.
‣ Is comfortable speaking and writing in English and Dutch.

Also, you will be with us from the start as we implement new business models and innovate our platform throughout this upcoming year. At last, there will be plenty of time for social activities, connect with mayor brands, artist and visiting lots of events.
