Level One unveils his new alias EXIT REAL1TY with a new release: ‘Sacrifice’

The artist signed to Scantraxx shows his new alter ego dedicated to millenium hardcore: “I see this act as an escape to let my creativity flow”.

In a scene in which hardstyle is shifting towards raw and hardcore is evolutioning into uptempo, there is still room for melodies in both subgenres. If you like it faster and harder, millennium hardcore delivers what you need and, today, we have a new face in the block ready to release new bangers inside this kind of sound: Level One.

The well known rawphoric artist is launching his new alias called EXIT REAL1TY, specifically created for millennium hardcore. Why did he decide to do so? “Our beloved scene is shifting a lot lately and I discovered a strong feeling to make a hardcore track myself”, he admitted. “When I went to Thunderdome last year, I enjoyed this so much and with my students from NS Audio we dived into the millennium sounds. After they told me ‘you really should do something with this’ I locked myself in on this track and finished it without even thinking”, he added.

This will not be a complete turn in Level One’s career, but an addition to his catalogue. Apart from his usual hardstyle tracks, we will have to get used to hearing some millennium hardcore coming from him from now on. “For this hardcore act, I will just create what comes to mind”, he said. “Of course I want to keep it millennium, or a bit more mainstream hardcore, but I don’t want to do anything like uptempo with this”, he added.

The launch of this alter ego comes together with his very first release, called ‘Sacrifice’. This track defines the sound that Level One will develop within his EXIT REAL1TY project: “I will definitely experiment with this sound too, especially with kicks!”, he explained. “At the moment, millennium hardcore is a genre that’s not presented that much anymore. The legends still create it, but there are not many new acts representing it. I had the strong feeling to contribute to this genre myself, so there’s still some future in it”.
