MEXICO’S BOSS LADY ABOUT THE SCENE IN LATIN AMERICA: “WE ARE DEFINITELY BECOMING A KEY PLAYER”

Hardstyle is on the rise worldwide! Our favorite genre originated in The Netherlands more than 20 years ago but quickly spread across the entire planet. From Europe to Australia, North America to Asia, Latin America to South America, across the globe Hardstyle fans can be found.

One country with an extremely dedicated scene is Mexico. Huge international events such as EDC or Dreamfields organize annual festivals in this beautiful country and all come with a Hardstyle stage.

Of course, a dedicated scene comes with dedicated organizations. The most important Hardstyle organization in Latin America is K1 Recordz by Mexican artist K1. They aren’t only a label, but they also organize events, coach artists, and act as a booking agency. I spoke to K1 Recordz’ label manager Araceli, and she gave us an amazing insight into the scene in Mexico and Latin America. Watch the video below and get to know the scene!
