Radical Redemption & Unresolved release first-ever collab: The Slayer Of Kings
Radical Redemption (Joey van Ingen) and Unresolved (Ihor Fedorutsa) have been prominent figures in the hard dance scene for years, each achieving success in their own way. After all this time, the two raw hardstyle DJs have finally joined forces for a long-awaited collab. Today, they release The Slayer of Kings.
Both artists have achieved big milestones in their careers. Radical Redemption is renowned for his Brutal Saga series and is currently dominating the charts with 'JUMP MF', his collab with D-Sturb, which has held the #1 spot for over three weeks. He continues to sell out shows and recently hosted his own Origins event this October.
Similarly, Ihor Fedorutsa, known as Unresolved, is a well-respected name in the hard dance scene. His recent highlights include the REBELLiON anthem Beyond The Horizon and the hit track Lonely, together with Bloodlust. On January 11, Unresolved will headline his fully sold-out show, The Final Reckoning, at Maassilo Rotterdam.
"Ihor is the example of what happens when you stay true to your sound"
It was only a matter of time before these two joined forces for a collaboration. Both Radical Redemption and Unresolved have stayed true to their original raw sound throughout their careers. As Radical Redemption explains, “Ihor is the prime example of what happens when you stay true to your sound and believe in it. Eventually, you’ll stand out from the crowd.”
For Ihor, working in the studio with Joey was a dream come true. “I have so much respect for Joey and everything he’s done for the scene that it’s hard to put into words. When we decided to collaborate, our goal was to bring back some of that OG RAW sound that everyone has been missing,” he shares.
For Joey, The Slayer of Kings is more than just a track. “It tells a story of positive change, signaling a shift toward a healthier hard dance scene,” he explains. The collaboration blends the dark elements that fans love from both artists. “This track encapsulates everything we stand for - a powerful melody, sharp screeches, and a dark atmosphere, all brought to life by those filthy kicks,” he adds.
Ihor shares his thoughts on the collaboration: “We aimed to combine the best of both our worlds. We’ve been playing this track since its premiere at REBELLiON Outdoor Festival, and every time, it’s pure joy - especially seeing the crowd’s excitement and happiness while listening to this track”
