Radical Redemption releases ‘The Kingdom’ with Techno DJ Maddix

When two worlds collide, this is what happens. 'The Kingdom', which blends perfectly the techno-rave style of Maddix and the raw kicks of Radical Redemption, features the regular mix and a hard mix, available in Hardstyle.com.
After facing a new era in his long and successful career two years ago with the launch of his own label Redemption Records, Joey van Ingen (Radical Redemption) has made sure to make a big impact in the hardstyle scene.
Going back to the very beginning of 2024, he amazed us with ‘No Retaliation (Part 1: The Solo’s)’, the first part of a trilogy of albums that will be closed with two more: the collabs and the long awaited Orchestra of Eternity material. Last year, Joey also started his liveact Laser Legion Live and he is about to premiere Marshals of Mayhem at Intents Festival this week, his brand new act together with Unresolved and Nolz. He’s definitely not holding still!
As we mentioned, Radical Redemption is immersed in the release of multiple collaborations to complete the second part of his ‘No Retaliation’ project. After releasing tracks with Rebelion, Angerfist, Dimitri K and D-Sturb, among others, it’s time for him to step out of his comfort zone (and the harder styles scene) to hear his brand new tune together with Maddix: ‘The Kingdom’.
"To me genres don’t really matter, if I vibe to it, I’m going to play it"
Pablo Rindt, better known as Maddix, is one of the biggest players of today's techno scene. Tracks like 'Heute Nacht', or his 'Tell Me Why Remix' and other big productions have taken him to mainstages around the world. Known for his approach that blends techno, rave, and even hard techno influences, Maddix brings a sound that hits with all kinds of crowds. “My sound dabs into techno, trance, rave, and some hard techno. To me genres don’t really matter, if I vibe to it, I’m going to play it out,” Maddix says. “‘The Kingdom’ had to be one of my harder tracks, and I guess for Joey it was cool to sneak in some more hard techno vibes. It’s fast, it’s heavy, it gives you that bass face - but still a bit different for both of us!”
“It was an instant click!” - on how the collab started
The spark for this collab came during a festival in Germany. Maddix recalls: “We were both playing the same festival and ended up in the same transfer. In that 30-minute ride we talked a lot about music and came to the conclusion that it’d be fun to do a track together - so we just started working!”
Radical Redemption adds: “It was an instant click. We kept chatting about production and thought: what if we did something together? Well, this is what happened.”
And the result speaks for itself. ‘The Kingdom’ dropped today and its Hard Mix is now available on Hardstyle.com. Now ready to dominate dance floors worldwide!
