REBiRTH Festival experiences through the eyes of the visitors
From the Kick-off show to the Camping Residence pre-party. From hearing brand new IDs to shouting timeless classics. From seeing your favourite artists to discovering the stars of tomorrow. This is why REBiRTH Festival is special through the eyes of its fans.
REBiRTH Festival is one of the most special weekends of the year for hardstyle fans. More than just a place to hear new music or see your favourite artists, REBiRTH Festival is where the festival season truly begins, where the scene comes back together after winter, and where thousands of people share the same passion, energy, and emotions again for the first time outdoors.
Over the years, the festival has built a strong identity of its own: an intimate atmosphere, a carefully curated line-up (possibly the best of the season every year), and a crowd that lives every set to the fullest. From euphoric moments to the hardest drops, REBiRTH Festival manages to create experiences that stay with you long after the last track has been played.
But what really makes a festival stand out is the people, and so happens at REBiRTH Festival. The memories created on and off the dancefloor are what turn a weekend into something unforgettable. To understand what the festival truly means, we spoke to three attendees and asked them to share their personal experiences, feelings, and moments at REBiRTH Festival. This is how they experienced it.

What was your favourite edition of REBiRTH Festival?
“Our favourite edition of REBiRTH Festival was last year, 2025. The line-up was huge, and we loved the 15 Years Special sets, especially the ones by Phuture Noize, D-Block & S-te-Fan, and Sound Rush. The weather was perfect, and we had a great time,” - Alex & Luis
“This festival means a lot more to me than just a weekend of music. REBiRTH Festival is a place full of memories, emotions, and moments that stay with you long after the last kick fades out. Choosing my favourite edition is not easy, as every year has its own magic. If I really had to choose one, it would be ‘United Through Madness’ (last year’s). That edition felt special from the very first moment I arrived at the festival grounds. The atmosphere was unreal, the crowd was full of energy, and you could feel the excitement everywhere. From the opening sets to the final closing moments, everything felt perfectly balanced – raw, emotional, and powerful at the same time. It was one of those weekends where you forget about everything else and just live in the moment” - Edvin
“My favourite edition was the 2024 one. It was my very first REBiRTH Festival, including Camping Residence, and my experience couldn’t have been better. The weather was very good, I had a lot of fun, and witnessed a lot of artists for the first time, and that made me realize REBiRTH Festival is one of the best hardstyle festivals in Europe and my favourite one in first place. I came back last year, and I will be back in three months again to kick off the festival season in the best way possible!” - Fernando

What’s your favourite memory at REBiRTH Festival?
“Our favourite memory from REBiRTH Festival was listening to the D-Sturb anthem in 2022. We had bought tickets for the REBiRTH Festival 2020, which would be our first outdoor festival in the Netherlands, as we are from Spain. Because of the Coronavirus the festival was cancelled, which was very disappointing for us. We had to wait two more years to visit the festival, and we listened to the anthem nearly every day at home during the lockdown. So when that moment arrived, and we listened to it on the mainstage, it was really special. We also loved the ‘Renaissance Of Rave’ live set by Sub Zero Project. They are one of our favourite artists, and we think it is the best live set they have created until today,” - Alex & Luis
“One of my favourite memories was the set of The Dark Horror. He played his ‘FENDI ON MY EYES’ live edit. When that fake drop dropped, time almost seemed to stand still. The entire crowd exploded – everyone screamed and was in disbelief. That moment felt like pure unity, strangers turning into one massive crowd, all connected by the music. It’s moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with the harder styles and with REBiRTH Festival in particular” - Edvin
“My favourite memory is Phuture Noize’s 15 Years Special set from last year. Even though he did several similar sets in the past months, the one that stood out for me was REBiRTH Festival’s. He played all the custom visuals from all his albums, the tracklist was perfect, and the crowd reactions were on point. Definitely, one of the best sets I’ve ever attended” - Fernando

Why does REBiRTH Festival stand out compared to other festivals?
“It is the perfect combination of a big festival but with all the facilities very near. The camping is not as big as others, so you can get everywhere with a short walk. It’s near the festival grounds as well, so you can go there if you need it to have a rest. The same happens with the distance between the stages - you can move between them and not miss any set. The organization is perfect and the atmosphere is very familiar” - Alex & Luis
“REBiRTH Festival is different because it feels authentic and personal. It’s not just about the music, but about the community, the passion, and the dedication behind it. You can feel that the festival is created by people who truly love the harder styles and the scene. It doesn’t feel commercial or forced – it feels real. The line-up is always carefully curated, the sound quality is insane, and the atmosphere is unique. Also, it is really compact, so you don't need to walk far to the stages. It’s a festival where artists, fans, and crew all feel like one big family” - Edvin
“For me, what stands out the most is the line-up. Given my personal tastes, it’s the perfect combination. Journey sets, new liveacts, insane back-to-backs, a lot of brand new premieres of my favourite artists… Of course, everything else is also almost perfect, from the moment of the year to the atmosphere and the crowd, but if I have to choose, I’d go for the line-up” - Fernando

A cool festival story
“Last year, we won a contest on Instagram, so we could choose an artist to have a meet & greet with. We chose Solstice, as he is from a town very near ours. We had the chance to have some beers with him in the artist lounge and chat about what we most love: hardstyle music. After that, we went with him, Ecstatic, and Jay Reeve to enjoy their Melo-3 set. It was a great experience!” - Alex & Luis
“One really cool moment was meeting a friend I hadn’t seen for a long time. What started as a random conversation in the crowd turned into a friendship that still exists today. We still talk about that moment whenever the event comes up. That’s something I love about this festival – you arrive with friends and leave with even more” - Edvin
“At REBiRTH Festival 2024, I had the chance to meet The Purge. He was going to play his liveact ‘Beyond Trippin’’ at the mainstage and, before that, he did a signature session and I got to meet him for the first time. Since then, I’ve managed to see him live so many times, and I have a good relationship with him, so I look back on that memory at REBiRTH Festival 2024, and it was definitely one to remember.” - Fernando

A cool REBiRTH Residence camping story
“The Residence camping has its own legendary vibe. One night, after a long festival day, we ended up dancing and laughing until sunrise with people we had only met a few hours before. No phones, no stress – just music, good vibes, and unforgettable memories. Those camping moments are honestly just as special as the festival itself.” - Edvin
“Everybody knows about the loud German neighbours at camping grounds at the festivals in the Netherlands. What happened to my friends and me there was something I still don’t understand at this point. At REBiRTH Festival 2024, in the middle of the night (around 3 am), our neighbours started playing Dual Damage music while everybody was sleeping, and there was no noise at all on the whole campsite. We got out of our tent, started talking to them, asking them to stop the music, but in the end we became good friends, and we shared the next day of the festival all together!” - Fernando
