Resilience & ERABREAK about ‘BLOW’: “Our ideas align perfectly”

After joining forces on ‘Where Have You Been’, Resilience and ERABREAK discovered that their sounds and studio workflows were a natural match. Now, together with vocalist Nathalie Blue, they return to Scantraxx with their second collab: ‘BLOW’.

After working together for the first time, Resilience and ERABREAK immediately noticed how naturally their creative processes matched. “Both our ideas align and when someone is maybe stuck on an idea, the other one fills the gaps,” they explain. Their musical styles proved to be just as compatible. “We both love the industrial sound combined with deep breaks and euphoric melodies. Because of this we very quickly decided that we wanted to make a follow-up.”

That follow-up became ‘BLOW’, a Hardstyle reimagining of Kesha’s instantly recognizable hit. The familiar singalong character remains, but this time it is surrounded by harder kicks, tension and raw impact.

The track came together remarkably quickly. “First we used the original vocal from Kesha, and the track was actually built in just two days. This really emphasizes our workflow together.” After testing the track live and seeing that it “worked like a banger,” they knew they wanted to turn it into an official release.

For that, Nathalie Blue returned to complete the collab. “Nathalie Blue has an amazing voice, and is super talented. Working with her costs literally no effort because in the studio we align, and her voice always hits the right way.”

With their second collaboration, Resilience, ERABREAK and Nathalie Blue once again show how naturally their sounds come together, this time transforming a pop classic into an explosive Hardstyle track built for the dancefloor.
