Revelation breaks new ground with raw hardstyle debut on Spinnin’ Records

Since last weekend, ‘Wrong or Right (The Riddle) [Revelation Remix]’ by Bassjackers and Revelation can be streamed on all music platforms. This makes Revelation the first raw hardstyle act to release on the prestigious label Spinnin’ Records. Quite a milestone for the raw hardstyle duo: “This is certainly one of the highlights of our year.”

When it comes to dance music record labels, Spinnin’ Records reigns as the largest, most renowned, and globally significant one. It’s the platform for artists like Timmy Trumpet, Laidback Luke, Don Diablo, Lucas & Steve, and Bassjackers, among many others. While it’s home to music industry giants, raw hardstyle was still missing. Until now, because raw hardstyle duo Revelation secures a release on this esteemed label.

Revelation is on the rise

When Noah Vermeulen and Lars Dalm started making hardstyle in 2018, they never expected that they would already reach such an upward trend when it comes to music and shows. Revelation’s tunes are known for their futuristic and unique melodies. Add hard kicks and screeches to that, and you have that typical Revelation sound. Their first hit, “Up All Night” with Hard Destiny, has already reached more than 300.000 streams on Spotify.

The men are currently well on their way to achieving their main goal: the Gearbox Digital main label. “We have already been able to do many great shows under Gearbox, and there are many more great things to come with the new Route 666 concept.” Next year, on February 24, 2024, Revelation managed to secure a beautiful spot on the line-up of Route 666 in Rotterdam. “We hope to add Defqon.1 to our list of festivals in the near future”

Recently, Noah and Lars have been able to cross many beautiful things off their bucket list. Consider, for example, the remix of ‘Gucci Bag’ by Anderex and shows at major festivals such as Intents Festival and REBiRTH. The men are proud of what they’ve achieved already, although they are still far from where they want to be. “We hope to add Defqon.1 to our list of festivals in the near future.” 

There’s a lot of upcoming Revelation music to look forward to. “We have more than 15 tracks ready with our new sound. Our music is also increasingly recognized by the bigger guys in the scene, so that also offers opportunities for us such as collabs and remixes.” The raw hardstyle duo will soon perform at events such as REBELLiON and Route 666 in Rotterdam.
