Reverze 2027 shifts partly to daytime

Bass Events has announced a major change for Reverze 2027, with Saturday moving to a daytime format while Friday remains a nighttime event. Could this signal a bigger shift in the hardstyle scene?

Reverze has long been one of the biggest indoor hardstyle events in the world, renowned for its spectacular productions and late-night atmosphere. However, its 2027 edition will introduce a significant change. Taking place on February 26 and 27, Reverze will welcome visitors during the day on Saturday, while Friday will retain its traditional nighttime schedule.

The event will continue to use both AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena across the weekend. On Friday, both venues will open from 8 PM, with AFAS Dome running until 5 AM and Lotto Arena until 4 AM. Saturday, meanwhile, will see doors open at 2 PM, with the event finishing at 1 AM at AFAS Dome and 12:30 AM at Lotto Arena.

Are we close to the end of nighttime events?

This is a major change for an event that has remained one of the international hardstyle scene’s biggest nighttime parties for years. While daytime festivals have become increasingly popular, Reverze has always been closely associated with the unique atmosphere of an indoor rave after dark.

Following the end of Qlimax and the return of Ground Zero, nighttime hardstyle events have become increasingly rare. With Hard Bass and Loudness also among the names associated with the scene’s nighttime culture, the question is whether the trend towards daytime events will continue. Could Reverze 2027 mark the beginning of a new era, or even the end of nighttime Reverze as we know it?

For now, Friday will still offer the classic late-night experience. But with Saturday’s new schedule, one thing is clear: even the biggest events in hardstyle are adapting to a changing scene. Whether this is simply a practical adjustment or a sign of a wider shift remains to be seen.

What do you think? Is daytime the future of hardstyle festivals, or does the scene need more events that last until sunrise?
