Revolve and Cold Confusion launch new project: 'The Ancients'

The trio has announced that they are joining forces to bring a fresh project to the table: new music, new show, new visuals, and a completely new experience.
Sam Van de Mortel (Revolve) and the duo formed by Linton van Benthem and Vincent van Voorst (Cold Confusion) are definitely among the most important names in the new rawstyle generation. Being signed to RSLVD Records, they've been a key part of Unresolved's record label's journey in recent years, performing at some of the world's biggest festivals.
Their sounds are very particular yet similar, that's why we have got to see them collaborating several times already on tracks such as 'Bounce To The Beat', 'Rock And Roll', or 'Warrior'. Their distinctive rawstyle sound, combining powerful and catchy melodies with the power of the raw kicks, has already made an impact for thousands of people.
Now it's time for them to take the next step on their careers as they are launching their new collaborative project: 'The Ancients'. "We wanted to create something that tells a story and draws you into an experience", they claim. "With 'The Ancients' we aim for something unique, without thinking in boxes. It's a ritual of sound and vision where past and future intertwine".
"We want to truly immerse the audience in the vibe"
Yesterday, they posted the official announcement on Instagram, and their fans we're hyped. What can we expect from this collaborative project? "We will bring a totally new concept. Music, visuals and outfits are all built around the same theme", they answered. "Expect a mysterious atmosphere with strong ethnic influences, melodies, and sound design, combined with the pure energy and rawness you know us for".
As we mentioned, it's obvious that Revolve and Cold Confusion have a true connection and chemistry both in the studio and at their shows. How did their friendship start? "We met through music, and the connection was instant", they said. "We've been supporting each other for years and we share the same vision. We've also become great friends and were signed to the same label, so it just felt natural to create something completely new together".
"'The Ancients' is more than an act - it's a story that has only just begun"
We are looking forward to the very first steps of this new formation, whether in terms of brand-new music, specially crafted for this show, or for their upcoming live performances. "Each show feels like a ritual where we will guide the crowd through a journey of music and mysticism. It's not just a performance, it's a story unfolding live. Who knows, there might be even an album coming in 2026..."
