Scantraxx BLACK drops massive track ‘Blackout’

In recent months you heard the lyrics “get ready for the blackout” blasting through the speakers at many festivals and indoor events. As of this week, the track ‘Blackout’ can finally be streamed. As the year 2023 approaches its end, the Scantraxx BLACK team is making a final bid for the longest track title of the year with their latest release.

The inner circle from Scantraxx BLACK have combined their skills in one massive collaboration that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the year. With the full track title, ‘Kronos & Level One & Imperatorz ft. Disarray & Imperial & Neroz & D-Attack – Blackout,’ this release could easily be one of the lengthiest titles ever released by Scantraxx. If you just look at this year’s releases, ‘Blackout’ even leads with an impressive 85 characters.

“I think it’s funny to have the longest track title,” tells Imperatorz. “However, I think it’s most important that the people love the track and that they feel the emotion we’ve put into this banger.”

‘Blackout’ was created at the producer camp of Scantraxx BLACK. “The chemistry between us was very good,” Level One reveals. “We put different producers on different tasks. Of course there was also room for a joke, but otherwise we worked very seriously on the track.”

Imperatorz says he never had such a smooth work process with six people in the studio. “We basically had the track done in one day at the writers camp, which was mind blowing because normally it is really hard with different opinions, tastes and approaches combined. We’re blessed to have such a great group of people that can really work together.”

After the writers camp, the DJs came together again in the Level One studio to complete the track. Looking back, Kronos reflects on a truly effective work procedure. “The creative process was kinda easy, since we were all on the same page the whole time. The track is called ‘Blackout’, but the light has been on all the time.”
