Supremacy Classics returns with a massive rawstyle line-up

The world's biggest raw classics festival returns to Jaarbeurs Utrecht on January 16 with some of the most iconic names in Supremacy history

It's hard to think of a better way to start the hardstyle year than with Supremacy: Return to the Classics. After the success of its first edition, which took place earlier this year and sold out completely, the concept is coming back to Jaarbeurs Utrecht on January 16 next year.

The concept has established itself as the world's biggest raw classics festival, bringing back the artists, sounds, and live acts that shaped the harder side of hardstyle during its golden era.

A trip down memory lane through the history of rawstyle and Supremacy

One of the main strengths of Supremacy: Return to the Classics is its exclusive showcases. Rather than simply booking artists to play their regular sets, Supremacy brings back some of the most iconic projects and chapters from their careers. This year's edition features Radical Redemption pres. 'The Legacy', Crypsis pres. 'Turntable Set', B-Freqz, D-Sturb pres. 'Legacy', Act of Rage pres. 'The Foundation', Angerfist pres. 'The Deadfaced Dimension' or Unresolved pres. 'Act of God'.

Each act represents a different moment in the evolution of rawstyle and, in many cases, some of the most memorable eras of Supremacy itself. From the classic Crypsis sound to Radical Redemption's heavier productions and the rise of D-Sturb and Act of Rage, the festival will bring together several generations of rawstyle in one day.

Wait… it’s been already eight years?

One of the most interesting additions to this year's line-up is Rebelion pres. 'The First Dose'. The live act was first premiered at Supremacy back in 2019, marking the beginning of one of the most recognisable chapters in Rebelion's career.

Eight years have passed since then, which is probably enough time for us to officially call it a classic... right? Jokes aside, 'The First Dose' became one of the defining live acts of the rawstyle scene, eventually leading to the album of the same name and the subsequent 'The Second Dose' and 'The Final Dose'.

This is exactly what makes Return to the Classics different from a regular classics event. The concept doesn't only look back at tracks from a certain era, but also celebrates the live acts, projects and moments that became part of Supremacy's history.

The first big hardstyle event of the year

Taking place on January 16th, Supremacy - Return to the Classics will once again be one of the first major hardstyle events of the year, specially for the fans of the music from back in the day. After the first edition proved that there is still a huge demand for the sounds that shaped rawstyle, this second chapter comes with another carefully curated selection of exclusive sets.

Last year's edition was completely sold out ahead of the event, so we can expect the demand to be high once again. The Member Sale will start next Tuesday, August 25 at 19:00 CEST, with members getting 24-hour exclusive access before the regular sale.
