These are the best Hardstyle artists of 2022

Although there will be big prizes given away in each category, the Best Artist of the Hardstyle Awards is perhaps the biggest crown of the year. Based on data – this means we consulted all downloads on Hardstyle.com, streams on platforms such as Spotify and other statistics – 10 nominations were determined.

As mentioned, getting into this list of nominations is no easy task. For example, artists like Brennan Heart, Da Tweekaz, D-Block & S-te-Fan, Headhunterz and Warface have built a huge legacy and continue to show that they are at the top with huge releases this year.

Hard Driver, Rebelion and Sub Zero Project also had a rock solid year: remarkably, they all released an album this year (in Hard Driver’s case, even two as part of The Elite). And Rooler and Sickmode are perhaps the most hyped DJs of the moment: they received a lot of handshakes in 2022. Everyone watched THE GANG with wide eyes this year. “Move it, bitch!”

The data showed that potential big contestants like Sound Rush and D-Sturb unfortunately did not make it to the list – although both acts had big moments including “Transform” in the Defqon.1 Saturday endshow and a Decibel anthem. The same goes for Vertile, perhaps the fastest-growing Hardstyle artist at the moment, quickly outgrowing his ‘talent status’ – but narrowly missing out on the Best Artist list. However, we don’t rule out the possibility that each of them will qualify for this next year: especially if the dates bear it out.
