These are the winners of the Hardstyle Awards 2022

This year, Hardstyle.com joined forces with Hard News for an annual hardstyle competition: the Hardstyle Awards. Based on data, nominees in 6 different categories had been compiled, with the public choosing the big winners.

The Hardstyle Awards is an independent contest that will crown the best artists, labels, and talents with a prestigious award. The nominations were based on statistics (such as downloads and streams), with 10 nominees per category. Fan votes did decide the final winners in the following categories:

‣ Best Artist
‣ Best Track
‣ Best Album
‣ Best Label
‣ Best Talent
‣ Best Live Set

What a year it’s been for these two Italians. Both were unstoppable from the charts this year and scored hit after hit with tracks such as ‘CLUB BANGER’, ‘MOVE TO THA BEAT’ by Rooler & ‘RAVE LOVE’ by Sickmode & Mish.

According to Rooler, the set at REBiRTH Festival is one of the best live sets he has ever done: “it felt different that day, the crowd was warm is f*”. THE GANG is a live set that brings their music together, and during this set, something magical happened. The recognizable and distinctive sound of their music did something to the crowd and vice versa.

Based on data, this nominee already scored high, but your votes did decide. A worthy winner in this category: congratulations and enjoy the golden Hardstyle Award!

We can’t deny that Cryex’s career has gone sky-high over the past year. This young man was responsible for this year’s Shockerz anthem, had collabs with major artists like Radical Redemption & Warface, and performed on huge stages such as the Defqon.1 BLUE.

For the rising star, this award feels like a crown on his work: “It feels like all the hard work of this year paid off, I’m proud!”. But we are far from being rid of him, ’cause this Dutchie has some big plans for next year as well. We can’t wait to hear and see what the future brings for Cryex. Congratulations on this big achievement!

Hardstyle labels are more than just a brand, it’s a family, and so is Dirty Workz. This year they celebrated their 15-year anniversary with a tour around the world, released several albums, and, of course, they brought us a huge amount of music.

With artists such as Sub Zero Project, Coone, Hard Driver, Da Tweekaz, and many more, the label works around the clock to deliver the music to your devices. They have been doing this for years with great success, so it was time to award them a crowning achievement.

Your votes have decided: Dirty Workz is the best Hardstyle label of this year: “It really humbles us to know that we bring so much happiness to the people, it’s not just music, it’s a lifestyle!”. Congratulations on the golden award, we can’t wait for more Dirty Workz music.

These Dutchies are crashing serious boundaries within Hardstyle. 2022 was a very good year for the boys. Q-dance announced they’re making the 2023 anthem of Defqon.1, they created an album with 15 (!) hits such as Live Fast Die Youg, Halo & Fly With Me, and they have played on all essential stages around the globe.

We are proud to announce that Renaissance of Rave by Sub Zero Project is the winner in the category best album of 2022. Congrats to the duo for this achievement: we can’t wait to see what 2023 got in store for these two.

This year, an amount of 5400 Hardstyle tracks were released which makes this year one of the better years in Hardstyle history. Lots of great music, but only one can be the best.

This year they were hugely successful and it shows in data of downloads and streams, but also in votes. Because not only did these two manage to secure an award in the best live set category, but also in this category they are on top with their masterpiece of 2022: ‘CLUB BANGER’. Congratulations on winning two awards guys, let’s make 2023 even better!

If one act has been extremely successful lately, it’s Rebelion. The Scottish duo is one of the hottest acts in Hardstyle at the moment. This year, the two started their own music label, announced their own X-Qlusive, and created hits like ‘Bonkerz’ & ‘City Lights’. So the fact that this act was nominated in the best artists of the 2022 category was no surprise. 

Now that all the votes have been counted only one act can be crowned the winner, Rebelion is the best Hardstyle act of 2022. Congrats to you guys, we hope you keep on treating us to more bangers in 2023.
