This is why you should visit Great Love World Festival in Germany

After a successful debut with the likes of Phuture Noize, Rooler or Riot Shift last year, the festival faces a bigger and upgraded second edition on the 6th of September.

The hardstyle scene is constantly evolving and growing in Germany. Among some newer and older festivals and events, a new interesting party emerged last year in SOLINGEN, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region: Great Love World Festival.

After inviting some of the biggest names of the hardstyle industry last year and being one of the best parties of the end of the summer in the country, Great Love World Festival is back with an upgraded version of the event on the first weekend of September, with a pre-party on the 5th and the festival on the 6th of that month.

The line-up is really diverse as it covers the full spectrum of the harder styles: hardstyle (Atmozfears, Audiotricz, Ran-D, Aftershock), rawstyle (Krowdexx, Thyron), uptempo (Dimitri K), and European talents (Madmize, Creek, and Bass Shaker), with the addition of Villain as the MC of the festival.

“The stage design felt massive last year”

Aftershock is one of the DJs that will repeat after his appearance at last year’s edition. We have taken advantage of the opportunity to ask him how we experienced Great Love World Festival 2024. “The energy last time was EPIC”, he told us. “People were going full energy from the very first drop. The fire and lights hit right on the kicks and the crowd sang along to almost every edit I played. This one’s going into my personal top 3 shows in Germany!”.

“The location has this open, industrial vibe that works perfectly for hardstyle”, he added. “Every act feels like a headliner here and the stage design is next level”. We also asked him what can his fans expect from his show at Great Love World Festival next September. “I will try to squeeze +25 tracks into the set, including unreleased IDs, special edits and 3 premières, plus hardstyle flips of your favourite classics such as ‘Mockingbird’ and ‘My Universe’”, he answered. “The set will go from euphoric melodies to unexpected raw drops and closing with some crazy 200 BPM stuff”.
