Just now, Audiofreq, E-Life, and Stephanie Magic guided thousands of Weekend Warriors through The Warming-up, the ultimate pre-show ritual which gets us in the mood for four days of pure power at Defqon.1 Weekend Festival 2025. Here’s everything you need to know to enter the holy grounds fully prepared.

The Warming-up is your full guide into the world of Defqon.1. Q-dance just revealed its insider tips, nightparties hostings, some extra additions to the lineup, and of course, the all-important Warming-up Mix, available right now. Last year’s edition was a massive hit, and this year’s mix is expected to top it.

Big news: the full timetable is now live and exclusively available in the brand-new Defqon.1 App. This includes not only the main program but also all the side activities and the complete night schedule. Some exciting additions have also been made to the line-up. Bioweapon joins the UV, Noiseflow is added to the BLACK, and on Thursday, a brand-new area will make its debut: The BROWN. This zone is all about extreme freestyle, where absolutely nothing is too crazy.

A moment never last forever, but we live for the memories

Thursday’s Gathering sets the tempo for the madness ahead. Anthem-maker Vertile opens the Gathering with ofcourse the Defqon.1 Anthem for 2025, Where Legends Rise. Who else can't wait for that voice to say: "Weekend Warriors, Welcome Home."?! Later, Warface & Rooler take it up a level with pure raw chaos, and TNT shut down the BLUE in style with a set that will surely cover some good classics and the TNT sound we all know them for. On the darker side, the BLACK and INDIGO are fully armed from the start with names like Angerfist, HYSTA, The Saints, Adaro & Unresolved, and ofcourse many more. Even after The Gathering we can keep on partying during the Silent Disco, which keeps the Defqon.1 vibe going for all weekend warriors.

Over the weekend, the UV, melodic fanatics get served with Melo-3 by Ecstatic, Jay Reeve & Solstice. And then there’s the Shitshow Closing, we'll definitely keep on hanging at the UV for that one. You’ll know when you’re there. The BLUE will represent raw from all perspectives. Think of names like Wolv, Mutilator, Mish, Fraw,  BMBERJCK & Sparkz - Legacy of Sound LIVE, and more. But also the INDIGO is known for its raw acts, not only during The Gathering, but also on Friday this year. Expect OG raw with acts like Revolve & Cold Confusion, and ofcourse some extra raw with Malice & Kenai, Element & Faceless closing off the stage.

The BLUE Nightparty also takes things to the next level this year. There will be two massive hosting nights, one led by End of Line, and the other taken over by the AR Gang. But that's not all. From hardcore on the BLACK to euphoric at the UV, every stage has its moment. Saturday night, Dual Damage brings their signature aggression to the RED during prime time. Defqon.1 Theatre: BOOM BOOM BOOM Chicago

A brand-new addition to this year’s programming is the Defqon.1 Theatre with a never-before-seen twist. In collaboration with Amsterdam’s iconic improv comedy club Boom Chicago, Defqon.1 proudly presents the world’s first hardstyle comedy show: BOOM BOOM BOOM Chicago. "Get ready for the funniest 30 minutes of your weekend as we combine Boom Chicago’s top-tier comedians, specialized in improv, with Defqon.1, the hardstyle scene, and our Tribe." The show runs twice daily from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets are now available in the app: DEDIQATED Members get early access for €5, while general tickets are priced at €7.50.

One of the biggest announcements during The Warming-up was the reveal of this year’s epic Closing Ceremony concept. For 2025, it won’t just be five hours of madness, it will be a journey through time. Each hour will represent a different era of hardstyle, starting from 2000 and ending in 2025. Expect massive throwbacks, legendary acts, and unforgettable moments. As Stephanie teased during the show: “Expect lots of Legends.” The final hour will transition directly into The Closing Ritual, bringing the festival to an emotional close.
