Thyron is back after a year of silence with ‘the journey’

The artist has gone through a lot in the past months, and this track is a piece of his story. The Melodic Mix is out now, while the Full Mix will be out next Thursday

It’s taken a bit longer than usual to hear from Thyron again. Bas suffered an unlucky car accident 1.5 years ago, which has led into a long and complicated recovery process. In the middle of these difficult times, Thyron has worked on a redefinition of his sound, adding a fresh new twist to it.

‘the journey’ is the first part of the next chapter of his career. With a 7-minute long instrumental track, Thyron explores a full spectrum of music: from orchestral fragments to trancy melodies and, of course, the power of hardstyle, the artist tries to reflect on the tortuous process he has been forced to go through.

Music can definitely heal our bodies and souls. This has also happened to Thyron. Now, as his recovery process is coming to the latest stages, he has been able to translate all these emotions into the musical language. “. While the first one focuses on the atmosphere and the emotions, the second one is specially curated for the dancefloor, capturing the signature energy of hardstyle. “It’s not just a track - it’s a 7-minute story.
