Thyron releases 'i feel like i'm drowning', the third track of his new chapter

This is the new track by Thyron, released on Scantraxx, which continues the tone of his previous tracks of this year

After a hiatus in his career due to a car accident, in the past months we have seen Thyron coming back to action with new releases. In 'the journey' and 'echoes of time', the Dutch producer showed us the direction he wants to follow for this new stage in his career. This is amplified in his new release: 'i feel like i'm drowning'.

In this track, we can find a pure melodic version of Thyron, who is translating into his music all the inner feelings and emotions he has been experimenting in the near past. "For me, it genuinely feels like a therapy session", he told us. "When I wrote this track, I was in a place where everything just felt overwhelming. I'm someone who feels things very intensely and naturally sets the bar really high for myself, so when setbacks happen - especially with the physical pain after the car accident - life can start to feel impossible sometimes".

'i feel like i'm drowning' is also a mixture of several genres and influences. In less than 3 minutes, we can hear trancy melodies, a drum and bass inspired break and, of course, the regular melodic hardstyle flavor by Thyron. "I wanted this constant sense of tension and overload, like you're getting pulled deeper and deeper into the emotion of the track", Bas admitted. "The trance-inspired melody was the first piece of the puzzle. Me being a huge DNB fan made me want to experiment with a more unconventional crossover to create even more friction and movement in the song. Every change in rhythm adds another layer of tension and emotion. The track finally lands in a more traditional hardstyle rhythm, which gives the feeling of relief and resolution, as if the story finally found its balance again".

Another easter egg on the track is the inclusion of a monologue Thyron added in an older track of himself: 'Pain Is Temporary'. We have asked the artist about this. "I actually got so many messages from OG fans about that part! Even back then (when I produced 'Pain Is Temporary'), this speech always gave me goosebumps, and honestly, it still feels like it's speaking directly to me every time I hear it", he told us. "The message behind it is still something I personally need to hear every now and then, especially during moments where I struggle to see the first step forward. But besides that, I also wanted longtime fans to feel that connection between the old and new chapters of my music. Sounds may change, but the soul is still there".
