Unresolved expands RSLVD Records with three new artists

RSLVD Records, founded by Unresolved in 2018, is taking the next step by expanding its roster. Known for that true raw sound, the label now welcomes Cold Confusion, Revolve, MC Flo, and Uncaged into its family. "We’re not just here for the hype - we’re here to leave a legacy."

For Unresolved, RSLVD Records has always been about preserving the original raw sound while giving it a fresh twist. "Our main goal is to preserve the raw sound from back in the day, but with a fresh new jacket," Unresolved explained. "We don’t want to be boring or repetitive, so we’re constantly striving to deliver the music we stand for. People are missing that true raw sound, and that’s where our label comes in."

More than a label; it's a group of friends with the same passion.

For Unresolved, expanding RSLVD was about more than just his own music: "Back in 2018, I created my own label to release music without the "extra checks" before publishing. But over time, I realized I could do more than that. After a few years of great guest releases, I thought it would be cool to bring together talented producers to share ideas and work as a team, like the American rap scene from back in the day. My goal with RSLVD Records is to leave a legacy for hardstyle by representing the old-school raw sound. I'm excited about the team we have, and I believe we can achieve this goal!"

Revolve agrees on this vision, "RSLVD is more than a label; it's a group of friends with the same passion." Back in the days of Loudness, he was already visiting Unresolved's sets. "It's inspiring to see how much he's grown since then while staying true to himself. When I reached out to him about doing a remix of EDM, despite only having one release at the time he gave me the chance and supported me in a big way. Last year, we even made a collab, Wide Awake, for his Bad Blood event at Maassilo. Sharing the stage with him in the same venue where I used to watch his sets felt like a full-circle moment. Joining him and his vision for the label was a natural next step for me."

We will reignite a spark that has been lost

Being part of the RSLVD family also means a lot to Cold Confusion: "Unresolved supported our first release, Awaken, which led to one of our first bookings. Being part of the family now feels extra special." The duo has great respect for the way Unresolved has always stayed true to his own sound, "It’s amazing to see where he stands now in the scene. It really shows us that you can achieve a lot by staying true to yourself."

For MC Flo, being part of the RSLVD Records is all about expanding a sound that has a huge potential and simultaneously: "The guys are my friends, and we share the same vision. I feel that we can break borders with the plans we have. Together with the existing RSLVD fanbase and the ones that will join us over the upcoming time we will reignite a spark that has been lost."

Uncaged has always been a fan of Unresolved’s signature sound. "Unresolved supported me from the start of my career, and joining his label is a big honor." For him, seeing the label grow with not one, not two, but three new signings gives the label more strength, diversity, and creativity. "And don’t forget that it makes a group of artists, a group of friends. I hope with the strength of five now, we can spread our sound more and reach more people with our RSLVD sound."

Each artist brings their own style and ambition, but they are united by a common mission: bring the people the raw the scene deserves. "We’re not afraid to dive deep into heavy kicks and let the music speak for itself," says Unresolved. “That’s the essence of RSLVD Records - we’re staying true to the core while embracing new melodies and ideas."

When asked about the future, Unresolved hints at exciting things to come. "We’re working hard to get some showcases and festival hosting in the upcoming season. We want the brand to be showcased to the scene. A group track is definitely on the horizon too!" Fans of RSLVD Records can expect a steady stream of releases from all the label’s artists, along with more live shows and special projects. "We have a lot of chemistry as a group, and that’s what drives us," says Unresolved. "We’re not just here for the hype - we’re here to leave a legacy."
