Why you can’t miss the last edition of Emporium Festival

After 20 years of history, one of the most iconic festivals in the east of The Netherlands comes to an end. With hostings of D-Block & S-te-Fan, Aversion and Jones, Emporium Festival is surely a festival not to be missed this season.
It’s always sad to see one of the festivals that started it all in the electronic music scene in The Netherlands go. This is the case of Emporium Festival, organised by Matrixx Events, that will celebrate its Grand Final edition on the 24th of May at De Berendonck, in Wijchen, just a few kilometers away from Nijmegen.
After inviting some of the biggest names in the EDM industry over the years (including the likes of Avicii, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike or Hardwell), but also highlighting the best regional talent, it’s time to celebrate like never before. Emporium has always stood out for its unique atmosphere and the countless elements that make it a truly unforgettable experience.
This year’s line-up spreads across 10 diverse stages: from house to UK Garage, from trance to hard techno, there’s something for every taste. And of course, three stages are fully dedicated to the harder styles!
RAW energy at the Toxxic Stage
Let’s move on to the Toxxic Stage, the ultimate home for raw and xtra raw fanatics. This year, it will be hosted by none other than Aversion, marking a major highlight in his fast-growing career. “It’s an incredible honor to be hosting the RAW stage at the very last edition of Emporium! We’re really going to miss this festival. With the RAW stage, we’re bringing nothing but maximum energy from start to finish, surprises along the way, and a crowd that won’t stop moving for a second. This is going to be legendary, guys!”
Robin (Aversion) will be performing three times: a solo set, a B2B with Warface, and a B2B with Dual Damage - two exclusive shows you really don’t want to miss. Expect live acts by Exproz, Bloodlust and Regain, plus explosive B2Bs like Kruelty & Mutilator and Adjuzt & So Juice. Artists like Hard Destiny Live, Imperatorz Live, Rejecta and many more make this line-up one of the most stacked yet. “Emporium has always been that amazing festival near Nijmegen where you can party by the water in the most chill atmosphere. I once had the chance to perform a live show in the middle of the day, and now we’re taking a huge step forward with our own stage hosting! This edition is going to be something truly special. Let’s gooo!”

Euphoric vibes at Xxlerator and a throwback at Classixx
Let’s not forget the Xxlerator Stage, hosted by D-Block & S-te-Fan. The legendary duo curated a euphoric hardstyle dream line-up with names like Sound Rush, Melo-3 (Ecstatic, Jay Reeve & Solstice), Adrenalize & Galactixx, Demi Kanon, Sub Zero Project, Mish, and Outsiders.
And for those who want to relive the golden days of the scene, the Classixx Stage, hosted by Jones, is where nostalgia hits hardest. With performances from Noisecontrollers, Wildstylez, Jason Payne pres. Goldschool, E-Force, Frontliner & Max Enforcer and more, it’s the perfect tribute to 20 years of memories.
