It has only been four months since Hardstyle DNA Festival took place in Oslo. Despite all the struggles they faced like negative media coverage and unreliable suppliers during this event, the people of Hardstyle DNA did all but sit still. This weekend they will bounce back during Hardkokt, a new and 100% Scandinavian Outdoor Festival.
Back in April this year the organization of Hardstyle DNA faced severe challenges during the weekend. After a period of insecurity about permits, and a bunch of negativity in the media, it was on the last days before the festival that suppliers decided to go rogue and kept the festival hanging. Despite all this, the people of Hardstyle DNA showed resilience during that weekend and created the best possible out of the utmost uncomfortable conditions, still resulting in a success for their 3000+ visitors. The Hardstyle DNA Outdoor Festival stood out as a truly unique event, aligning with the high standards set by Dutch festivals, with a top-tier lineup including renowned artists such as Brennan Heart, Rooler, Rebelion, Sefa and Sub Zero Project making their appearances.
A NEW ERA FOR SCANDINAVIAN HARDSTYLE LOVERS
This weekend, on the 25th and 26th of August 2023, Hardstyle DNA will be back again with a brand-new concept named Hardkokt, which consists purely out of a 100% Scandinavian line-up. Hardkokt will take place in the beautiful outdoors of Nesparken, Moss, set on a mere 40 minutes from the capital of Oslo. The festival spans two days and unfolds under the open sky where Scandinavian ravers can reunite for an entire weekend filled with music, friendship, and dancing.
THE OFFICIAL HARDKOKT ANTHEM AND LINE-UP REVEALED
Norway’s maestro of melodies, Double Phunq, has been entrusted with the creation of Hardkokt’s anthem. Titled “Scandiravia,” this anthem not only rejoices in triumph but also underscores the sense of unity and the challenges endured by Scandinavians in their dedicated pursuit of our shared music.
“We want to celebrate Scandinavian talents and plan on giving them a major stage to play on. The line-up is 100% Scandinavian and packed with passionate artists ready to give it their all.”

As mentioned earlier, the line-up for Hardkokt will be 100% Scandinavian, but Hardstyle DNA wouldn’t be who they are without having some surprises in store for their visitors.
