Nightcraft releases first solo-track on Scantraxx

Last October, during Scantraxx x Savage Squad: The Hardstyle Showdown at Amsterdam Dance Event, DJ and producer Nightcraft stepped up to the prestigious SCANTRAXX main label. After releasing two collabs, with Level One and Unresolved, Nightcraft releases his first solo track on the main label. 

“The track ‘Not Alone’ is a spiritual milestone in my career for me. It is my first solo track on the prestigious main label of SCANTRAXX and I am very proud of that,” tells Nightcraft in an interview. His journey with the SCANTRAXX family began in 2019. He started his musical journey on sublabel Silver, then transitioned to Carbon. Since the end of 2023, he has released on SCANTRAXX main label.

In those years, the label was musically and socially important for the DJ. “I have made new best friends in recent years that I am very happy with and there is a real family feeling. I think those I'm talking about can certainly agree with that!”

Nightcraft: “I wanted to make the contrast in the track as big as possible”

'Not Alone’ is a track with a trancy-uplifting melody. It actually made Nightcraft happy straight away. “I wanted to make the contrast in the track as big as possible by dropping the mid intro extra hard with deep kicks and screaming screeches, and that turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself!” 

There is also a deeper message behind the song. “The vocals are about being afraid of being alone, when you feel like you no longer have something or someone around you. I always want to respond to the emotional aspect of hardstyle with my music. I sometimes miss that a bit in other tracks, but I think it is very important.”

Nightcraft shares thoughts on the popularity of 'Not Alone'

'Not Alone' doesn't just receive positive feedback on the dance floor, it also sparks enthusiasm across social media channels. “I was surprised at how many fans responded to it and tagged each other's friends in it,” says Nightcraft with disbelief about one of the videos of his brand-new track. “Common responses were mainly “this is what we want!” and “this is how raw should be!” That is surreal.”  

For the next coming months, Nightcraft has a lot of new music in store. “I’ve got some collaborations from unexpected places. New shows at home and abroad, and I will visit countries I have never been to. And I have something else in the pipeline that I'll get to later!”
