Music was Nicky Sun's first love. She began DJing in 2012 and performed in various clubs, discos, and parades in Hamburg and northern Germany. After a two-year break to reset her mind, she realized how much she missed playing music. In mid-2020, she purchased new DJ equipment and reignited her passion for music by performing in numerous live streams, including Alarmstufe Rot, Bambu Livestream, and her own on Twitch. In 2021, Nicky Sun signed an artist contract with Neptun Records, leading to the release of her first single, "Black Sky." Her second single was released at the end of November 2023. In January 2024, Nicky Sun and DeeStylez founded the music label DEEFFECT MUSIC.
