After two years without the massive event, EDC returns to Mexico and it will undoubtedly be one of the best editions to date with a massive Hardstyle line-up. Get ready for EDC Mexico, February 25-26, Autódromo Hermano Rodrîguez.
Since the inaugural EDC Mexico in 2014, the festival has brought together an international community of Headliners to experience the unique culture of Mexico City and Electric Daisy Carnival. The vibrant city floods with individuals from all over the world to share a weekend filled with peace, love, unity, and respect. This year, the 8th anniversary of EDC Mexico will be celebrated, the largest festival in the country.
In 2014, Insomniac Events brought their flagship Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) to Mexico’s capital Mexico City. The festival offers a variety of electronic music, including EDM, Techno, Bass, Urban, and of course Hardstyle. EDC Mexico has even been awarded as one of the best festivals of the decade, according to Pollstar Awards 2021 and 1001Tracklists.
The event will host a total of nine stages, including Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, and Wasteland, the latter of which is the Hardstyle stage. Hardstyle was introduced to the EDC Mexico in 2016 on the Circuit Grounds stage and in 2017, Basscon brought their concept Wasteland to Mexico for the first time ever. Wasteland has the appearance of a city of doom and madness. Adorned with shipping containers covered in graffiti, a stage with fire, and rough music, it is without a doubt a stage unlike any other.
♻️ WASTELAND HARDSTYLE LINE-UP
Hardstyle will be represented on Friday and Sunday of the event. Besides these scenes’ biggest names, local Hardstyle artists can be found on EDC Mexico’s line-up. K1, who is considered to be Mexico’s biggest Hardstyle artist, will play the event for the fourth time and will share the stage with Dutch producer Vasto. Other local artists are Cango, Decibela, and Jenny Anaya. Gmaxx and Natsumi, a Japanese artist who will play B2B with Alby Loud, are going to make their EDC debut. Bass 2 Headz and Divisium will bring Hardstyle on a brand stage – the Forest House and SHEI will be the only artist to play Hardstyle on the mainstage Kineticfield. That’s gonna be absolutely insane!
