ID&T: ‘FEELS GREAT TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THE FESTIVAL SEASON AGAIN’

The organization behind festivals like Defqon.1, Decibel Outdoor, and much more, organized their first outdoor festival last weekend: Awakenings. ID&T is very happy that the festival season has started again after it was halted for about two years due to the corona measures. ID&T Group director Ritty van Straalen told ‘ANP” that the atmosphere was ‘exuberant’.

This weekend, we will see the very last indoor hardstyle event organized by ID&T (aka (Q-dance): X-Qlusive Phuture Noize in AFAS live. After this, the organization will fully focus on the outdoor season, which they had already kicked off last weekend.

“How great it feels to finally be able to open the festival season again after being out for such a long time,” says Ritty to ANP. So nice to see everyone enjoying themselves; from the frenzied visitors to the artists and all the crew people, the atmosphere is exuberant and everyone is extremely excited.”

“That’s the way it should be, we can’t wait for the rest of the season”

Last weekend, more than 250,000 visitors were expected to celebrate at festivals such as Paaspop, DGTL and Awakenings. “That’s the way it should be, we can’t wait for the rest of the season,” concludes Ritty.

ID&T has a huge number of events planned this summer. Think of Defqon.1, Mysteryland, Decibel Outdoor who finally got the green light to make this summer unforgettable. Let us know via our socials which event you are most looking forward to this festival summer💚.
