Timecode takes visitors on a unique audiovisual journey through 30 years of hardcore and can be visited from 10 March through 20 March at Elementenstraat 25 in Amsterdam.
In 2022, Thunderdome celebrates its 30th anniversary, and to celebrate this event, the organization launches a brand new concept: Timecode by Thunderdome. The one-hour show takes visitors on a special audiovisual journey through the 30-year history of Thunderdome and the evolution of Dutch hardcore music. The show can be visited from 10 March to 20 March on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Amsterdam at Elementenstraat 25.
/ AN AUDIOVISUAL SPECTACLE LIKE NEVER SEEN BEFORE
Visitors of Timecode by Thunderdome experience the show in a special 360 degree setting with state-of-the-art LED video setup and a fierce light and laser show. In the one-hour show, fans will be surprised with the most iconic and compelling moments from the 30 years of hardcore history. The show floods visitors with 90,000 frames of audiovisual spectacle like never seen before. Add to that a surfeit of sound (11.1 setup) and the unique experience for visitors is complete.
Gérard Zwijnenburg, Creative Director of Thunderdome: “Timecode goes hard, literally and figuratively. Volume is set to maximum (103db (+)) and the rich history of Dutch hardcore passes by in a bird’s eye view. No interviews and long stories, but the best tracks from ’92 until now. The show can best be described as an hour of audio and visual violence. Everything is handled with a big wink, no house is safe. After completely selling out 50,000 tickets in two hours with Thunderdome in 2021, we expect available tickets to fly out the door with Timecode by Thunderdome as well.”
Ticket sales for Timecode by Thunderdome will start on Thursday, February 18 at 4 p.m. for members of Thunderdome, regular ticket sales will start February 18 at 4 p.m. via this link. Tickets cost €25,- excluding ticket fee per ticket.
