3 weeks ago MYST came out with the sad news that he is quitting as an artist. For everyone, this came as a complete surprise and fans were shocked… But, today MYST came out with a brand new surprise: LEGACY – Hardstyle signature sounds of MYST, in which he will share his full hardstyle kick collection with the world.
MYST released a whole album that was very loved by his fans. Nevertheless, the talented artist announced in early September that he would be retiring as an artist, something that no one had seen coming at that time.“I feel like I’ve just hit the tip of the iceberg when it comes to challenges I want to face.“ So here he is talking about being an artist and that he stops as the producer that he is.
“I have made this decision because I want to focus on different creative areas in my life.” This quote makes a lot of sense right now, as today MYST announced that he’s not completely abandoning us. He is surprising his fans with a full kick collection. In doing so, potential producers are given the opportunity to learn from previous projects, as well as never-before-seen projects. He then truly sees this as his legacy to all of his (producer) fans.
“I have decided to share my complete hardstyle kick collection. I included the best kicks from my most well-known tracks in my new sample pack.
I have also included new kicks, which I have never used before. On top of that, I added a full track breakdown (full stems) of my track ‘Before You Go’.
In my vision, workflow is essential to create the best-sounding tracks. And with this collection of sounds, you will improve exactly that, when used right. I wasted way too much time on getting my hardstyle kicks to sound right. With that in mind, I wanted to share what I have created over the years, with you.
