Devastating news just reached us; Raw Hardstyle DJ MYST decided to end his career as a DJ and producer. Who would have thought that his TRINITY album would be his last? We surely didn’t and are still in shock!
Eugen Boorsma, better known as MYST, has deep roots in music. In his younger years, he was a guitarist and then soon came in touch with the Harder Styles. For over 15 years, Eugen has been producing Hard Dance and has had several hits like Fire and Ice, Overloader or When The Stars Connect In Space together with Adaro. Just a few weeks ago, MYST released his TRINITY album, which contains 17 absolute masterpieces. With his unique sound and very musical approach to producing, MYST had a massive impact on our scene.
Via his socials, he announced that he decided to end his career as a DJ and producer. “I have made this decision because I want to focus on different creative areas in my life.”, he states. “I feel like I’ve just hit the tip of the iceberg when it comes to challenges I want to face.“
Luckily, there will be one more final track, and he also said that he will still be around on his socials. We are sure that the last track will be an absolute banger, just like all MYST tracks.
Although we are super sad to see such a talented producer go, we wish Eugen all the best for the future!
