These are the best Hardstyle talents of 2022

The talents of today are the heroes of the future. A new generation of Hardstyle DJs who get to play at more and more festivals and conquer the biggest stages with their signature music: they are all nominated for Best Talent of the Hardstyle Awards 2022.

Artists like Headhunterz, B-Front, Atmozfears and Phuture Noize once started at the legendary PURPLE stage at Defqon.1, a place that for many talents can be the kick-start of their DJ career. Hard News has also hosted several stages to spotlight up-and-coming talent: it’s already quite difficult for some to (finally) have their breakthrough.

In this collaboration with Hard News, both parties quickly agreed that there had to be a Best Talent category – no matter what. Statistics showed that the below (and most promising) acts managed to find the spotlight often enough, in the following nominations.

Nominees for Best Talents 2022

Adjuzt
Anderex
Aversion
Cryex
Firelite
Level One
Mutilator
Stormerz
The Purge
Voidax

Lots of talent within Rawstyle

Let’s answer the most frequently asked question to get right to the point. Because, the talent category is framed with several measures. We include the number of streams and downloads, how long the artist has been around in the scene, how many solo releases have been released and how many mainstage performances he (or she) has had. This showed, for example, that Vertile has already far surpassed the label of “talent” and thus is not included in this category.

Adjuzt and The Purge are label buddies and (together) also have the chance of winning an award for Best Liveset at Intents Festival. The Purge has even been nominated in 4 of the 6 categories, including Best Album, confirming his rock-solid year. Anderex and Mutilator have been smashing the stage and even are responsible for this year’s Gearbox Twin Turbo anthem.

There is a good chance that Aversion’s live edits had you spinning quite a few pirouettes, because this guy knows how to hype up the crowd massively. Cryex has pushed it to the limit with remixes for major artists, collabs with Radical Redemption and Cryogenic, and he even made this year’s Shockerz anthem. Australian Firelite is building tremendously hard on his career and increasingly bridging the long distance from The Land Down Under to Europe. Each one of these artists already achieved some incredible goals at the beginning of their career.

Last but not least: Level One. Who, for example, is responsible for a remix of Headhunterz’ iconic Scantraxx Rootz. Stormerz is the biggest promise from Chile, a country known for its enormous dedication from Hardstyle fans. And Voidax has won a place in many fans’ hearts with his unique sound, partly due to the enormous energy the best man has behind the decks.
