D-Block & S-te-Fan join forces with The Prophet on 'Nothing But Rave'

After knowing each other for over 15 years, D-Block & S-te-Fan and The Prophet have finally teamed up for a high-energy track. Today marks the release of their first collaboration, 'Nothing But Rave.' "Let's be honest, we all can't stop raving!"

Premiered exactly one year ago during The Prophet's farwell set at the mighty Defqon.1 mainstage, 'Nothing But Rave' quickly became a dancefloor sensation, living up to the hype. Blending the old school rave sound with modern-day hardstyle, 'Nothing But Rave' includes catchy vocals, strong spoken segments, and uplifting drops, perfectly capturing the essence of summer raves.

Moved by the icon leaving the harder styles scene, D-Block and S-te-Fan requested that The Prophet would join them in the studio for one final track. After all those years, the iconic hardstyle duo is beyond proud to release a track with SCANTRAXX-founder. "The track 'Nothing But Rave' resembles the sound of the early days, when we, as visitors, fell in love with hard dance music and got in touch with The Prophet. After working with The Prophet for 15 years on SCANTRAXX, we finally combined our forces to create a track together," they said.

Both artists wanted to combine their love for the older rave and their current sounds. "We combined the classic rave sound with hardstyle to create a modern-day rave song that turned out amazing," explains D-Block and S-te-Fan. The track not only marks a big hit for D-Block & S-te-Fan but also pays tribute to The Prophet's legendary career.

For The Prophet, 'Nothing But Rave' reflects the enduring passion for what he loves. "Contrary to what some may think, my shift from hardstyle and hardcore isn't due to lost love. Love for the harder styles never fades; it merely evolves." Since The Prophet officially hung up his headphones last year after 35 years in the harder styles scene, this special collaboration with D-Block and S-te-Fan only came after his era as The Prophet. "It showcases that change isn't about ending one chapter, but starting another filled with new creative possibilities," he adds.
