Devin Wild releases brand new experimental EP 'Among The Noise'

The Dutch producer returns to the essence of his previous works, such as 'ACID' and 'Exhale', blending diverse influences.

Dion Mons, also known as Devin Wild, has been hitting consistently with his releases in 2025. After unveiling his collaborative EP with Phuture Noize, working on some collabs with heavyweights such as Ran-D, D-Sturb, and Sound Rush, and releasing several solo tracks, it was about time to see him working on a solo project. And here it is: 'Among The Noise' EP.

We have asked Dion about his creative process and how he fit the production of this album in between working on other solo tracks and collabs. "I started with 'Chaos' in the first half of 2025. I continued working on the project a few months later when finishing the test version of 'Dance With Madness' just before Defqon.1", he told us. "'Hit Back' and 'Silent' came around August as I wanted to test them in the USA and Australia, so it basically took me a whole year to finish this EP, but with some time in between".

"I love to stay as creative as possible."

'Among The Noise' includes 4 tracks that blend a variety of genre influences. It is well known that Devin Wild has always been a fan of experimenting with and incorporating different sounds into his music: drum and bass, acid, hard techno, psytrance... This can also be found in this EP, which is perfect for people who don't fit inside a box but seek a different listening experience.

"I try to implement all kinds of genres and influences of the music I like through all my songs, not only with EPs in particular", he adds. "Since the moment I started doing these more experimental EPs, underground rave music has been a huge influence because this kind of stuff always brings me into a flow where I can think outside my comfort zone even more".

"Working on a project like this is more like telling a complete story."

We have also noticed that the visualizers and artworks for each track are very distinctive and connect with the whole project. What was the inspiration behind them? "For each track I had a feeling in mind", he answered. "For example, 'Hit Back' has a more industrial, underground sound, so I wanted an environment that resonated with that: dark, empty subway stations, hallways... The same goes with 'Dance With Madness': an abandoned funfair. Usually, a place of chaos and fun, but seeing it like this gives me that cold, ominous feeling. Basically, I tried to create an atmosphere and tried to connect every dot, making this story as cohesive as possible".
