Neroz signs with Scantraxx: ‘I have a lot of faith in the label and their vision’

So, a brand new artist has joined the realms of Scantraxx BLACK. With his signature supersonic kicks combined with melodic undertones, Neroz has taken over the Raw Hardstyle world by storm. Hits such as Pinsir, Supersonic Superstar or Bodyshock, are sung along by thousands. Gigs at the biggest festivals in the scene such as Defqon.1, Intents or REBiRTH have catapulted the Dutch artist into another dimension.

Signing with Scantraxx feels amazing according to Neroz. ‘Ever since the first contact, everyone has been so welcoming. I’m really excited, and I’m ready to show all of my new music’.

Although he belongs to the OGs of Heart For Hard, he chooses to switch to another label. ‘I have to give credit to the Heart for Hard team as my time with them has been amazing. I’ve made many road trips and made many new memories and friends. I’m forever grateful for what this label has contributed to my life on both a personal and artistic standpoint’.

What started in 2013 as a friendship turned out to be a professional success. Neroz has seen the biggest stages at the best parties and received tons of support from artists that he look up to. ‘However, I feel like there is more to explore. A fresh start as an artist in this rapidly developing industry would only provide more opportunities. This being said, I felt that Scantraxx would allow me to diversify my music, my act, and my audience. It’s a big move for me, but I have a lot of faith in Scantraxx and their vision’.

The reason why he choose for Scantraxx, and what the label means to him is a funny story according to the artist. ‘Let me take you back to 2007, my first Q-Base. Back in the days, there was no Scantraxx merchandise. So, during my first Q-Base, I took it upon myself to make a one-of-a-kind Scantraxx shirt to wear at the event. I got so many compliments on the shirt! Scantraxx has always represented some of the most talented artists in the scene, and I am honored to be a part of the team’.

We can expect a bit of a new sound from Neroz in the near future, as we will notice with his first release Path of Vengeance, it’s a bit different than the old Neroz kicks people are used to. ‘The new style I’m pursuing can be defined as more modern but still recognizable as my own sound. You’ll still hear the screeches and uplifting melodies, but I’ll be more experimental with gated kicks and funky rhythms’.

But, Neroz will always be identifiable.  It will be slightly different, but still with his signature synths and melodies. It’s more modern, more funky and more gated. ‘I’ve worked hard to improve each track’s sound and overall quality. I’m also working on a special-theme track, similar to Pinsir‘.
