10 days of non-stop hardstyle? Wow! This week 245 (hardstyle) DJs traveled to Alphen aan de Rijn to break a world record. The idea was to set the longest live stream ever, all this took place at DJ school Alphen.
During corona time we are flooded with a lot of livestreams, but the owner of the DJ school & Anthony Donner thought: this can be better. They provided professional equipment and cameras on DJ school in Alphen aan den Rijn and set up a livestream himself. Not only hardstyle, but also hardcore was played during the stream. From starting artists to well-known artists within the scene, everyone was allowed to participate!
Artists like Ran-D, Adaro, Digital Punk, Frontliner, Ruthless, Dr. Rude, Deepack, Darkraver, and many more well-known names within the scene participated in this days-long live stream. This of course makes it all the more interesting for the viewer.
GUINNES WORLD RECORDS HAVE TO REVIEW THE MATERIAL..
A year ago, the school director (Amrish Raghosing) managed to organize a seven-day marathon. But last night, after 244 hours of non-stop music, he really hoped to make it to the Guinness World Records with the 10-day lasting stream this year. On paper the record is smashed! But, it’s still going to take a while…. because Guinness World Records must first review all the material.
According to the owner, it was a successful livestream, and if you ask me I’ll definitely say that these are nice things to organize during this endless pandemic. This way we can still listen to our favorite genre in a fun way!
