EMBRACE THE HISTORY OF QLIMAX: A TIMELINE OF ALL ANTHEMS EVER MADE

Qlimax, the biggest indoor hardstyle spectacle there is. It has been 21 years since the first edition took place. This also means that many memorable anthems have been made that have earned their place in the history of hardstyle. Let’s go back in time and admire each Qlimax anthem.

The first edition of Qlimax (2000) took place in Beurs building Eindhoven. After this edition, Qlimax did not take place once a year, but between 2000 and 2003 the party even took place two to three times a year. Only since 2004 the big party took place once a year (only in 2007 an edition also took place twice, one of which in Belgium).

All these editions have had different locations. Think of locations like Silverdome Zoetermeer, Thialf Stadion Heerenveen, Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam, and some more different locations.

Since 2008 Qlimax has been based in the Gelredome Arnhem. Since then, the huge spectacle has not taken place anywhere else. And let’s be honest? This location is a perfect fit for the event.

So, since 2000, Qlimax has had quite a few editions. But, not every edition had its own anthem. Q-dance started in 2002 with the anthems for each edition. Since then, the organization annually chose a good artist who deserved to make the anthem. Who were all these legends again? I’ve putted them in a row for you!
