Track info

In Spring 2013, during a Rock Meets Classic tour through Germany, Dirk Adamiak, German dj/producer Blutonium Boy and Eric Bazilian (The Hooters' frontman/singer/guitarist) met each other for the very first time at the Olympic Hall in Munich. After the huge concert in Munich, Blutonium Boy and Eric started talking to each other about music in general and began conspiring in ways to join their two genres. This is where the idea for “Where Did I Go Wrong“ was born. Blutonium Boy sent Eric an instrumental track, to which Eric wrote lyrics and recorded electric and acoustic guitars. The musical DNA splice between Hardstyle and traditional Pop/Rock Songs was successful. Never before had a Hardstyle artist teamed up with such a legend from the music industry. Bazilian is responsible for the hits “500 Miles“ and “All You Zombies“ and "Johnny B" back in the days with The Hooters, as well as writing the worldwide mega hit "One Of Us" for Joan Osborne. These are songs that have been heard and performed onstage, on the radio and TV, and heard in homes all around the world. "One Of Us" is one of the most covered songs on YouTube, in fact. Similarly, Blutonium Boy has been around since the early nineties, a Hardstyle legend in the worldwide Hard Dance club scene. Since then he has been running his own label, Blutonium Records, based in Germany which has had more than 200 releases. Just like Eric, Blutonium Boy has toured multiple times around the world and performed on almost all major events for electronic dance music! Right now he is booked for the biggest electronic dance festival, EDC: Electric Daisy Carnival by Insomniac Events in Chicago and Las Vegas. This song is a catchy tune and will capture everybody’s heart by storm, especially when the electric guitar solo part comes in. Count on it.
